Spa Etiquette
Age/Gender
Our spa welcomes both men and women. Guests must be at least 12 years of age.
In order to maintain a peaceful, meditative environment for our guests,
children not receiving service are not allowed in the spa.
Gratuity
A 15%-20% gratuity is suggested for spa services.
Appointments
All spa appointments are reserved with a Visa, Master Card or gift certificate number. The suggested time for booking (in advance) an appointment package is 30 days, weekend appointments 2-3 weeks, and single services 1-2 weeks.
Same day appointments may be available.
Scheduling
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Appointments for late arrivals will end as scheduled to avoid delaying the proceeding appointments.
Cancellations
We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance for single spa services, and 48 hours in advance for spa packages to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.
Parking
Long-term metered parking is available in the rear lot, located off 9 Mile Road.
All of Ferndale’s parking is metered, so please have quarters ready.
Valuables
Please keep all valuables with you at all times. Fundamentals is not responsible
for lost or stolen articles.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates will be honored up to their listed expiration date. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Gratuities are not included in gift certificates, due to accounting requirements.

For your comfort, smoking is not permitted, and all electronic devices
must be placed on silent.
